02Quality testing

03EN 10204 3.1 versus 3.2
A 3.1 certificate is validated by the manufacturer's own quality department; a 3.2 certificate is validated by an inspection body independent of the manufacturer or by the purchaser's authorised representative. Which document is required depends on the specification and the customer's quality system; state it in your request.

Certificate type, traceability and testing requirements affect the supply source and lead time. Use the certification field in the RFQ form.
