Copper & Bronzes
Copper-based materials for electrical, mechanical, wear and industrial applications. From special copper alloys combining conductivity with strength to classic bearing bronzes, sourced to specification.
01
High-Strength Copper Alloys
Grades such as CuBe2, CuCrZr and CuNi2SiCr, combining conductivity with mechanical strength.
Typical applicationsResistance welding electrodes, mold cooling components, conductive parts, aerospace and electronics applications.

CuBe2 Beryllium Copper
CW101C·2.1247·C17200
Copper-beryllium alloy reaching the highest strength and hardness among copper alloys. Combines high thermal and electrical conductivity with spring properties and wear resistance. Non-magnetic and non-sparking.
CuCo2Be
CW104C·2.1285·C17500
Copper-cobalt-beryllium alloy combining high electrical and thermal conductivity with good strength and softening resistance. The standard material for resistance welding electrodes and mold cooling components.
CuCoNiBe
CW103C·2.1285·C17540
Copper-cobalt-nickel-beryllium alloy with a conductivity and strength balance similar to CuCo2Be. Used in resistance welding and permanent mold casting.
CuCrZr Chromium Zirconium Copper
CW106C·2.1293·C18150
Copper-chromium-zirconium alloy combining high conductivity with resistance to softening at elevated temperature. A common choice for resistance welding electrodes and continuous casting molds.
CuNi2SiCr
CW111C·2.0855·C18000
Beryllium-free copper-nickel-silicon-chromium age-hardening alloy offering good conductivity and high strength. An alternative to beryllium alloys for welding electrodes and mold components.
02
Aluminium Bronzes
Cu-Al based alloys offering high strength, corrosion and wear resistance. C86300 (manganese bronze) and other cast grades are sourced upon request.
Typical applicationsPropellers and marine equipment, bushings and bearings, valve bodies, landing gear components, wear-resistant mechanical parts.

CuAl10Fe3Mn
CW306G·C62400
Aluminium bronze; a Cu-Al-Fe-Mn alloy combining high strength with corrosion and wear resistance. Preferred for bearings and gears under heavy load.
CuAl10Ni5Fe4
CW307G·C63000
Nickel-aluminium bronze; one of the strongest copper alloys. Outstanding resistance to seawater corrosion and wear; used in aerospace and marine components.
CuAl14Fe4Mn2
C95900
High-aluminium bronze with very high hardness and wear resistance. Used for bending and straightening tools and heavily loaded wear parts.
03
Tin Bronzes
Classic bronze alloys for applications requiring bearing performance, friction and pressure resistance.
Typical applicationsPlain bearings, bushings, gears, pump and hydraulic parts, sliding mechanisms.

CuSn10
CC480K
CuSn10 is a classic tin bronze with about 10% tin, offering high strength and very good wear resistance. With good machinability and a stable structure it is an ideal solution for mechanical systems operating under medium to high loads.
CuSn12
CC483K
CuSn12 is a tin bronze with about 12% tin, distinguished by high hardness and wear resistance. It offers higher strength than CuSn10 for reliable performance under heavy operating conditions, retaining good sliding and friction properties even under high load. Its corrosion-resistant structure gives long service life in humid, oily and general industrial environments, and its mechanical stability is an advantage where dimensional precision is required.
CuSn12Ni
CC484K
CuSn12Ni is a tin bronze with about 12% tin and a nickel addition, offering high strength, wear resistance and improved corrosion performance. Compared with CuSn12 it provides higher fatigue strength and better impact performance, and resists corrosion better in humid and aggressive environments. A suitable solution for heavily loaded mechanical and industrial applications requiring durability and continuity.
Alloy selection by application
In copper alloys, conductivity, hardness, wear resistance and corrosion behaviour can work against each other. We support alloy selection based on load, speed, temperature and environment.
